Choosing a wedding venue is one of the first things engaged couples tick off their wedding planning to do list. But with so many wedding venues in Vancouver BC, it can be hard to narrow it down!

So we asked our team of Vancouver wedding officiants to help you out! Below, our officiants are sharing a couple of their favourite places to get married in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Of course, this isn’t an exhaustive list. We love so many venues in Vancouver and couldn’t possibly list them all. And while we do think these are some of the best wedding venues in Vancouver, this certainly isn’t all of them.

Planning a wedding in Vancouver? How to find the best wedding venues in Vancouver, BC:

  1. Do your research. Check out a list of top venues (like our list below), consult wedding directories and check out venues on Google. Put together a list of your top contenders.
  2. Get some feedback. Read reviews or reach out to friends or family who have been married at these venues. You could even join an online wedding group and ask if anyone has any firsthand experience to share.
  3. Create a shortlist. Based on your research and reviews, create a shortlist of your top wedding venue contenders. A spreadsheet is a great place to store this info!
  4. Contact the venues. Once you have your shortlist, reach out to each venue to confirm things like pricing, availability and inclusions. Check out this list of great questions to ask!
  5. Tour the venues. By now, your shortlist should be even shorter and the only thing left to do is visit your remaining wedding venues in person. An in-person visit will help you get a feel for what your wedding day could be like!
